Pattern: Named Alexandria Peg Trousers from The ‘Ticket’ Collection Fabric: Art Gallery Fabrics, Vice Versa, 100% Cotton Denim Looking in my wardrobe lately I have noticed that I have a heap of me made dresses but not a lot of me made basics or garments that I wear day to day / week to week. Millionaire Hotseat and the Lani Tunic
My Mother in Law was on an episode of Millionaire Hot Seat with Eddie McGuire in October which was very exciting, even though she didn’t win anything I took up the opportunity to make her a tunic to wear on the TV.I don’t mean to toot my own horn but I was super excited that some fabric I sell was going to be on the television in a garment that I had hand made for my mother in law!!

Sew Pony Vintage - Tic Tac Toe Dress Blog Tour

I was lucky enough to be chosen to pattern test Sew Pony Vintage’s new girls dress – the Tic Tac Toe Dress.

It comes with heaps of options too!! Piping, pockets, bodice lining, 4 different sleeve options,  a half peter pan collar, full peter pan collar, back tie...there are just so many combinations, it’s just fantastic!

I decided to sew up the dress with the half collar, back tie and rectangular sleeves in size 3.

Building Sewing Confidence with Darling Ranges & AGF Denim
I had put making this dress off for about a month knowing damn well that all I had to do is dive in and everything would be alright. I hadn’t done button holes or a placket for over 5 years, so procrastination was winning with a fear of stuffing it up on this awesome denim. I knew I would be stealing a bit of this fabric when I ordered it for the shop because I loved it so much!
